How Gissah Imperial Valley develops
Gissah Imperial Valley is defined by the contrast between Sicilian Bergamot and Leather, giving it an oriental woody direction. The composition starts on Sicilian Bergamot, Pink Pepper, and Davana, using the accord to create bright citrus lift. The fragrance develops around agarwood, White Amber, and Rosemary, an accord with dark woody weight. Leather, Musk, and Haitian Vetiver support the dry-down with smoky resinous depth.
Its progression can be followed through Sicilian Bergamot, agarwood and finally Leather, each contributing a different texture. Rather than treating Sicilian Bergamot as an isolated accent, the formula places it inside a broader oriental woody arrangement.
Neither Sicilian Bergamot nor Leather works in isolation; the interest lies in the space between them.
